The Father of my "Children" Just Had His Tail.......

Anyone hear how they are poisoning dogs that are around the Olympics?
Masses on tails are really hard to contain and it's hard to get clear margins with just removing them. He will be fine in no time. They'd soft collars don't always work as well as the cone of shame. 450 for that surgery is very reasonable it is an amputation at that age a lot more then just "chopping" off a tail. When a pappy gets its tail docked it is just cartilage and takes just seconds to do. Not the same with an older dog.
As far as the teeth cleaning 350 is reasonable. It's what we charge. A lot of people forget the vets go to school the same length of time as a md and it is harder to get in vet school then in medical school. It cost $$$$ for all the fancy equipment that we all want to see in a vet clinic and those things cost a lot of money.

What machine would that be?

Hope by now the dog is on the mend and playing. CC that's good to know about the prices. Hate when people abuse any animal.
