Favorite life changing item?

Lol. I am avoiding Facebook like the devil. Need a mental break.

What is your favorite life changing item you can't live without? I went to a party and this was the exchange instead of white elephant. So fun and learned new items. At the party, I learned about those double insulated water bottles that keep cool for 24 hours in our vegas summer cars. My personal fave is a Rada paring knife. I have gifted one to any house that I cook at.

Okay, these items won't solve your gift buying problems, but these are game changers. Garage door opener and an ice maker. There's millions of other things, but these are two things that we didn't have at my parents home until, say 1975. Once you get 'em, you think "How great is this!"

If you decide to go with a "hyper-insulated" cup, you don't need that super expensive Yeti brand. With a little research, you can find one that's just as good for half of the price.

Good luck.
My ipod nano I bought years ago, still use it today to listen to rocking tunes when biking. Can't imagine exercising without it.

Underwear, in place of diapers. I suspect that sometime in the future, the change will be back to diapers.
- Clonazepam for sleep. Nothing else helped, not Ambien, not Lunesta, you name it, nothing worked. Bless my PC doc, since at that time it wasn't indicated for sleep. My husband had some for...something and let me try his. Bingo, and no hangover effect! Actually last year the doc tried to switch me to Trazadone. I tried, it no good, no help, so he gave my Clon back to me (after my pleading/sob story).

- Microwave oven

- And I agree with garage door opener.

- Wood box, which husband keeps filled so I can have my fireplace fires in the winter.
The shade for the front window of my Toyota Rav 4. Those suckers are awesome.
Easy. our DVR. I'm so spoiled we refuse to watch anything that isn't recorded so we can zip by the commercials. I don't plan on ever having to watch another commercial in my life is possible. Along with the added benefits of being able to pause anything or rewind anything (if I didn't catch what they said or dogs barking or whatever interruption there might be) is really helpful, great for the Steeler games. I'd give up my phone or whatever techno thing around here for the DVR, possibly even my computer if I HAD to make a choice.
The internet. I first logged on in 1984...an Apple 2+ with a 300 baud modem. It was a lot different back then! About 10 years later the internet opened a door to a career change that truly changed my life!

Oh, . . . Oh, . . . Oh !
