Favorite life changing item?

I take it as a usual convenience,but when it's BROKEN,I really cannot live a good life without my car.
There is Uber and the bus. Sheesh.
If my computer takes a crap,it's like my best friend just died! I have 2 computers but only one car.
The other computer is like driving a Yugo,when my Supra is down.

Has anyone mentioned their Roku?

The TV remote control. My grand kids can not fathom that we had to actually get up off our sofa and walk up to the TV to change the channel.

You guys took this question much more literally than I intended. For literal intrepretation, I'd have to go for car or blow dryer. I actually cannot live my day without these two items. The world just stops.

My grandma lived in the country. 3 rings were for her phone to answer. She lightly picked up the phone for other rings so she could get gossip. So I guess I love info, I still think the internet is the Superhighway. Of course my 8 year old granddaughter has a cell phone and winds her fingers around her ear when I tell her I had to be at home by my dial phone to make or get a call.

A blow dryer? That's interesting.
