FBI expands probe of Hillary's email?

Mally, for someone to win, they would have to be on the ballot.....wouldn't you agree? Unless you think Hillary could win even while under indictment. Here in Illinois, a Democrat being under indictment is no impediment to a successful election campaign. Not sure that the other Chicago Democrat (Obama) has projected that ability nationwide just yet.

Isn't that a requirement to be Governor?

Would Mally vote for Hillary if it's proved that she took bribes in return for State Department favors.

Suppose that the DO indict her......then what do the Dems do? It's getting pretty late in the game to replace her. Candidates have to get their names on the ballot pretty soon.

I like to ask myself.....who would I vote for if my only choices were Hillary, Obama or Jimmy Carter. With death not being an option, this is one extremely difficult question for me to answer.

Anybody could beat Trump.

Golly, if you ask me a question shouldn’t you wait for me to answer it? Right now I am feeling the bern, and given current polling in Iowa and New Hampshire, I think he has a good shot at winning the nomination.

Perhaps, I should have qualified my statement to say any Democrat can beat Trump in the general. The problem the other Republican candidates have with Trump is that he has taken their ability to use the dog whistle to rally the base of the party away from them. With Trump proudly wearing his misogyny and racism on his sleeve, the other candidates are forced to have to condemn this type of behavior and when they do it angers the base of the party.
Republicans have already forfeit Florida, Colorado, and Nevada in the general election thanks to their Latino xenophobia. And on behalf of the eventual Democratic candidate, I say "Thank You very much !"

Conservatives - start putting your conspiracy theories together now. Thats all you'll have to cling to for another 8 years.

IF the reports are true, Hilliary won't be in any shape to win the nomination. Bernie could be your choice and he's likely to get over run by Trump or Cruz.
Were something to happen to Hilary, I imagine the party leaders would broker the convention and give the nomination to Biden. Delegates are only legally obligated to vote for the person they are pledged to for the first ballot. All candidates start fresh on the second and any additional ballots.
A slim possibility exists we may end up with two brokered conventions, something that hasn't happened in modern history.

You have to look at the Polls. Iowa is February 1 (less than a month away) and New Hampshire is February 9. Sanders has a commanding lead in New Hampshire and the latest polling out today shows he is overtaking Hillary in Iowa. If Sanders wins both of those, he would likely be able to ride the momentum to the nomination. In any event there won’t be a brokered convention on the Democratic side because Sanders is there.

Same goes for Trump if he wins both Iowa and New Hampshire it would be difficult for another candidate to overtake him at that point. Trump has been going full birther on Teddy (Calgary Cruze) and it is bringing Teddy’s poll numbers down in Iowa.
Ask Hucklebee or Rick Santorum how much winning in Iowa helped their campaigns. Seriously, what do the voters of those two states have in common with the urban voters that will decide, at a minimum, the Democratic candidate, if not the election.
If the republicans have forfeited Florida & Nevada why do they control both houses & the governorship of those states? Colorado is a toss up.

All the major republican candidates either lead or within the margin of error of Clinton.

Not sure what polls you're looking at, Chef.

None of these three candidates are my choice, but the latest polls have Bernie beating Trump 49 to 42 and Betnie beating Cruz 46 to 43.
