Fear And Loathing On The High Roller: Acrophobia And Jumping Children

True Confessions About The High Roller In Vegas

Fear and Loathing on the High Roller

This is an excellent photo. I love the way the clouds and the High Roller intertwine. Did you take it?
Someone I know very well (I won't mention his name here because he is a close blood relative, but I will if he gives me trouble) had a panic attack on the High Roller and curled up on the floor in a fetal position.
I agree....excellent photo!

No...not me. I am not that good.
(Neither is my camera)
A lady named Eva took it.

I sympathize with that person on the floor...poor thing.

I can relate. that is exactly why I have not done the high roller or zipline on fremont street. as I have gotten older I really cant take heights. I would love to do the Slotzilla zipline, but I am afraid I would have a full blown panic attack and be humiliated for life. :-(
I can take the heights, I just don't know if I'd be bored to death at it taking an hour to complete the ride. 1/3rd of that time you are going to be very near ground level or not clear of buildings.

JM2300, by any chance?
It is only 30 minutes...not an hour.

It looks like you are right. I thought I had heard it was an hour, but I haven't been on it.

Here is an answer from their Q & A

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GO AROUND?

Roughly 30 minutes, but plan on at least an hour to accommodate entering and exiting the wheel.
