I have experienced the ride twice. From time you step on to the pod until the time you step off it is 30 minutes on the button. I timed it both times. It goes pretty fast.

The disclaimer of one hour accounts for long lines to purchase tickets and/or wait in line, which is rare thes days.

You can see the Mountains to the east almost immediately, and the view is spectacular most of the trip.
It's pretty amazing as the view just keeps getting better and better.

On another note. Does anybody besides me wait and wait for a Blonde thread to load? I don't know why this is, but every thread is this way.

Yes on the wait time for her postings. I enjoy her postings but I don't know if its her avatar or what might cause the ridiculous delay I experience only on her threads.

They take a looooong time to load for me, as well. Not sure what the reason may be, but Bonnie’s posts are worth waiting for. And she likes Coney Island hot dogs, too.
