Feel good -

Just to counterbalance the negative crap of the last 24 hours - here is a feelgood post from my friend Joy -

My Dad just saved a baby's life at Disneyland! She had a seizure and was foaming at the mouth and eyes rolled back and not breathing. Her Mom was screaming hysterically and Dad grabbed the baby and gave her mouth to mouth and compressions. She eventually began breathing. It was beyond intense and in true Disney fashion they gave us a private escort to the rides and vouchers as a Thank You. Worst/Best Day Ever

That is real life - all this other petty squabling is just soooooo insignificant.

But was he certified in Basic Life Support?

I'm not a medic, but I do know that in most cases seizures are not life threatening.

I believe that all one has to do is turn the person on their side,
make them "comfortable" (maybe something under their head) and let the seizure run it's course.

I'd worry about the "gave her mouth to mouth and compressions" being done to one having a seizure.
