[Jason] Polanco, who was arrested on attempted murder charges Tuesday, routinely posted messages with political or social commentary on his Instagram.
In one of those posts, a few months ago, he added a picture captioned 'stop police brutality' — complete with a shocking call for violence against cops.
'Maybe there should be a stand your ground law for civilian against abusive & [corrupt] authorities,' the suspect wrote.
'Same way they empty a full mag on us, empty a couple on them.'
He signed his message with a reference to Michael Brown, the unarmed black Missouri teenager whose shooting death by a white police officer sparked months of protests and riots nationwide.

So do you two think that guy decided to rob the place because he was mad about Ferguson?

If so does that mean the next time someone makes an attempt to do harm to Obama because they are inflamed by what they heard from Beck and Rush do we shut them down because they instilled a lack of respect in the Office of President?

Do we arrest Cliven Bundy and his minion Sean Hannity for murder because they instilled a lack of respect for government in that couple that killed those Las Vegas cops?

Be careful for what you wish for fellows you seem to be implying people shouldn't criticize government.

DonDiego does not think that.

malibber2 asked: "Two cops in New York foil a robbery and get shot in the process how is that in any way shape or form related to the events in Ferguson?"

DonDiego responded. Without comment. Without expressing any opinion.
DonDiego apologizes for answering malibber2's question.
Rather than start another thread, I hijacked this thread, sorry for the misunderstanding.

NYC has a mayor that does not have any respect for the police and has been disparaging them for the past year. As a result of the negative atmosphere, 4 policemen have been shot and a number have been injured in the last month.

Whoa there genius...If the NYPD rank and file didn't feel this way, why are they turning their backs on the Mayor every time he speaks?

Why did their Union leader claim De Blasio had 'Blood on his hands'? Are they all stupid too or are you just blaming Fox News for everything you don't like?

By "they" you mean "some", right? I mean, cause otherwise you're guilty of the same shameful behavior as the NYPD union leader who is falsely speaking on behalf of many people that disagree with him within his own ranks. Many black cops in the NYPD say they have experienced the same harassment as Eric Garner when off duty.

Mayor De Blasio ran on a campaign that promised to eradicate the racist and (now) court-ruled illegal practice of "stop-and-frisk" which statistics showed was overwhelmingly used disproportionately against the black community.

"SOME" of the NYPD obviously have a problem with the mayor (and courts) making public the statistical facts of race demographics used in that practice....they don't like being labeled "racist" even though that adjective is not an opinion but rather a statistical fact of the department's behavior. "SOME" members of the NYPD think the Eric Garner incident demonstrated a perfectly acceptable method of law enforcement.
"SOME" members of the NYPD agree with the change brought on by the new mayor.

Our resident board members are free to side with whichever "SOME" of the NYPD they wish.

Of course not ALL NYPD agree with their Union head and not all turned their backs on the mayor...but I was responding to Melonhead's claim that Hoops (a NY City resident) is either 'Stupid' or 'Just parroting all the idiots on Faux News when clearly MANY if not MOST of NY City's finest believe Mayor De Blasio's rhetoric has contributed to an anti-police atmosphere.

So do you agree with Melonhead that Hoops and a large number of the rank and file of NYPD are Stupid Or do just think they just all parrot Fox News?

reuters claims to have interviewed 25 cops; of which only 10 are still working & none of those working were quoted by name. What was the criteria for selecting those 10. Do they even exist?

By the way the NYPD is only 53% white as compared to the image perpetuated by deblasio/shapton that it is an all white force prowling the streets.

If you look at the photos, all races turned their back on the man who doesn't have their back. Last week deblasio reappointed the judge who released a 2 men without bail who threatened to shoot the police.
