If a corporate CEO has angered/demoralized his workforce to the point where many (if not most) turn their backs on him to publicly humiliate him, he would almost certainly be fired by the Board of Directors. I can't think of an instance of that ever happening though.

Like you said you can't think of case where it happened and that is because it doesn't. Boards of large corporations and CEOs don't give a shit about the feelings of rank and file workers. Any board of any large American corporation would be happier than pigs in shit if they could find a way to off shore and fire all their rank and file employees. That is how much they care about the demoralization of their employees.

The cops are acting like spoiled petulant children. Their guy lost the election and now they are throwing a temper tantrum nothing more.

This is one of your weaknesses Mal, you assume/generalize way too much.

Do you really wanna make your arguemnet to the likes of a Costco or a Facebook or a caterpillar?

Floisha the Fremont Cop will definitely work something out for you.
I've not read about any spoiled children being murdered.

Actually, I can't think of a corporate CEO who has angered/demoralized his workforce to the point where many (if not most) turn their backs on him to publicly humiliate him....can you? Since it's not possible to off shore these jobs, a Corporate Board would fire a CEO in a heart beat for alienating his work force like this. I'm pretty sure that the citizens of New York City will do just that at their earliest voting opportunity.

But now it's about 'cops acting like spoiled petulant children because of 'their guy losing an election'. I thought you said it was all about ending stop and frisk.

Here. I'll give you a clue. The police weren't turning their backs until two of them were assassinated. Right or wrong....they are fixing blame for that to the mayor for the perceived anti-police atmosphere they think he created. I'm sorry you can't see that and think they are spoiled children.

It has nothing to do with losing an election. it has nothing to do with stop and frisk. It has everything to do with two dead policemen and their brethren's belief that Mayor De Belasio's words and actions contributed to that.

These two are guys, right?

Most employers want to have a good relationship with their workers. It's never in an employer's best interest to have open hostilities between management and labor. Nobody wins. Especially the shareholders.
Hatred of the police can occur anywhere, . . . even in small towns like Elzabethtown, Kentucky [population 29,000 give-or-take] at the town's newspaper The News-Enterprise.

On Thursday the paper published a story entitled "Law Enforcement to be Honored for Service", which included an interview with Hardin County Sheriff John Ward. Within the story was the following:

The newspaper has subsequently apologized. It has been reported that a 20-year-old and a 32-year-old working at the copy desk to proofread submissions have been fired. They are unlikely to receive a recommendation-letter for any future employment in the news field.

No fatalities resulted. The Mayor did not get3 involved.

The pair I have seen were a little less endowed, but also very friendly. Sorry I didn't get a pic. And this is much more fun than talking about those whiny badge wearing brats in New York....
