They think they are above the law and that their do as I say and not as I do code is a way of life. Wiener was an arrogant ass that when you watched him during news interviews in the last few months made you think how could this guy get voted into office in the first place. He is just another lying politician that doesn't deserve to be in the position he is in. These guys need to remember they were put there to work for us. Arrogance has no place in that position.

Over the years the banks just pocked the increased profits even though the transactions were much easier to process. What I am upset about is congress has spent more time on this issue than anything else (jobs, health care and so on) and both big monied groups felt like they were entitled to this money. It never was brought up maybe we should give it to the consumers (the people that actually pay these fees) or perhaps the government should just call it a tax as a way to increase revenues without having to raise taxes on anyone, but no the only question was who would get the consumer's money the big banks or big box retailers.

Let me get this straight. You are upset that a cap was put on banks charging swipe fees to merchants (which is passed on to the consumer)? I never knew you were a big defender of big banks mali.
