Filming your VP hands

Was watching some videos on youtube of people drawing to get their royal flushes. Does the casino frown upon or care that you do that? I've gotten out my phone to snap pics of good hands, but video is another thing. Maybe I'm just remembering the old days when the casinos would have a fit about people taking pictures.
Things have seemed to get much looser with taking pictures of good wins,
especially now with most people owning a cell phone camera.
Filming is another thing, but I feel the main objection from casinos is when one
films or takes pictures of the casino floor showing the gaming action and patrons.

Someone has to really be watching you like a hawk to determine if you have your camera in photo or video mode. I think they really only enforce the "anti-filming" rules around the tables. YouTube is packed with videos of people getting bonus rounds on slot machines.
the guards are out-numbered by cell phones these days. too hard too enforce. and maybe they realized that all of those you tube posts of wins are good advertisements for going to the casinos.

I think the only issue is privacy of other patrons (you know "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"). If they could determine you were filming every hand, they might become upset and suspect you are doing something like transmitting and receiving from an outside source. Filming a potential Royal, seems in bounds.
That's what I figured. Clearly people are doing it. I plan on filming several royals in a couple weeks....
I've been scolded for taking pictures of big wins both hand pays. One in Washington state where I live and one in Oregon. Both times they tried to play the "state law" line which I called BS on and asked to see proof of state law, which they couldn't provide since it doesn't exist in either state.

I then said I'm only taking a picture of my hit and am NOT filming or taking pictures of any person in the casino as I wouldn't want my picture taken in a casino without my permission and, said "besides,'I'm going to show my friends my big hit, at your casino, so look at it as free advertising".... The guy in Oregon said "you kind of have a point" and dropped it.

While the lady at my local kept going and in front of payout personnel I said if this discussion continues you will be forfeiting any tips that I was going to give your employees, she then quickly dropped the subject.
Nice. Was that up at LaCenter or EQC?

I'm in PDX
I was cautioned not to take a photo of a slot machines play rules.
At The MSS. Weird.Maybe that security guy was new.

I have taken photos of winning hands a LOT,there.

I wasn't PLAYING that slot machine,I wanted to see the pay tables on a multi-line machine and study it at my leisure.(At the Boar's Breath Bar.)

It would be casino POLICY,not a State law.
Would it be OK to take a photo of a couple employees? I didn't ask permission.Whoops.
