Well, I have been trying for several years, to get a $1 royal, but I have not been successful until last night.
I always felt that my 1st one would come either at the M-resort, Silverton, or Southpoint, since these are the places where I have good single line dollar machines scoped out, and that I usually play.
When I go to the Gold Coast, I play strictly quarters or 50 cents.
Well here I am, with 200 bucks in wallet, after a profitable session at the Gold Coast during my lunch hour.
I asked lady friend, if she wanted to go with me to Silverton, since we had FSP there last night. Of course, she says yes, so off we go.
We got there around 6PM, and we proceeded directly to the High limit area. We have a pair of $1 multi game machines scoped out in there, and we usually start off playing 4-card keno on these machines. I dumped my 50FSP in my machine and lady friend dumped her FSP as well, plus a $20 dollar bill.
I was hitting my numbers pretty good and immediatley got up to 140 in credits..I got greedy though, and boosted my bets, and hit a dry spell. I was thinking to myself "Damn I should have cashed out at least 100 bucks" but I convince myself that it was only FSP, and I had not invested a single "real" dollar in this machine, so it was worth the risk of not cashing out.
I turn to Lady friend, and she was down to zero as well, she pulls her card from the machine and starts to get up, and I said "No wait...let me put ONE twenty in this machine and play some BP on the dollar level, and see if I can make a run"
She agrees, and I inserted the cash.
About 2 hands into this 20, I get 4 eights, for a nice 125 buck hit, then I said, "see I told ya". I few hands later I get four tens, for another 125 buck hit, now I am up to 250 bucks. I was back and forth, talking to the machine to please get me to 300 so I could cash out. I kept going down to 220, back up to 280, down to 205, back up to 270, when I get the dream hand. (well almost a dream hand)
Staring at the screen, i see 10c Qs Ac Kc, and Jc. (a real dream hand would have been a dealt royal)
Now normally, when I see 4 to the royal on a max bet $1 machine, I tense up, my heart stops, and I get all shaky, then hit the button, and see some other bull shit card fill in, with no royal.
This time, I was just so happy with the 270 bucks that I made from the $20 buy in, that I didn't give a shit. I didn't expect it, didn't get nervous, and didn't blink, I held the 4 to the royal and hit the deal draw button.
BOOOOOOM!!! Queen of clubs shows up on the screen!! HELL YEAH BABY!!!! My first $1 max bet, 4000 buck royal ever!!!
That was my que to start shaking, like an idiot and to get all nervous/out of breath...LOL I was shaking big time! I couldn't believe what had just happened to me!!
We snapped a couple of pictures, and quietly waited for a slot attendant to come around to pay us. The Hight limit room was a ghost town on this night. We were the only ones in this room for this whole time.
See picture here....

Finally, some slot manager dude came around, and I waved him over, and he radioed some one to come check out a "taxable in the High limit room"
Soon after that, a little dude came around, and pulled my players card, inserted his card, punched up some numbers and went away saying that he would be right back.
About 3-4 minutes later he shows back up with $4000 bucks in beautiful 100 dollar bills, and I signed the tax form, and stuck out my big old hand! LOL
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, .....and FORTY!!
He said congrats one more time, and I handed him 100 bucks for his efforts, and well wishes.
The machine still had the 270 bucks left on it, after he cleared the royal pay off, so I went back to playing, still thinking that I could get to 300 and cash out.
Well I did...a straight and a full house later, I was up over 300 bucks and I cashed out there.
I told lady friend "I am not leaving this machine until it bucks me" so I put another 40 bucks in there, and proceeded to get quad nines dealt, and quad 3's on a 3 card draw for another 300 bucks!!!
I cashed that out as well, and said again "I am not leaving this machine until it bucks me"
I put another 40 in this machine, and played again...this time I got up to 80 bucks fairly quick, but the machine went on a severe dry spell, with lots of losing hands in a row.
I decided to switch games, when I got down to 30 bucks, and I jumped over to DDB poker instead.
I built my stash back up to 100 bucks on that game, but that one had a very long dry spell, and the machine finally bucked me!
Time to get up and move on.
We left the high limit area and moved to the general casino area, where we proceeded to play and piss away about 300 bucks playing quarter keno, 3-play poker, and nickle slots, and finally I said "It looks like the casino is trying to get their money back from me, I can't win shit to save my life"
We called it a night, and went back home with one of the nicest problems I ever had. The problem!? I couldn't get my wallet out of my pants, because it was stuffed up with 100 dollar fuckin bills baby!! Yeeee hawww!!
Overall we walked in there with 200, but only used 40 bucks of it, to win what we did.
We walked out of there with 4300 bucks. A wonderful night indeed!
Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it.
