Aren't we mixing incidents here?

Malibber.....I will wait until the facts come out. You can speculate all you like, but the fact is this.....you don't KNOW anything concrete. And neither do I. Yes, you can see video AFTER the incident. You can listen to one side's lawyer's take on things. OR you can wait for the facts to come out. If the officer had video, either dash or body cam, I think we would have seen it by now.

It's all very disturbing. Why did the officer shoot? And why did he shoot 4 times? I have no clue. But as with Michael Brown and the case in Baltimore, speculation won't get any of us anywhere. Those seem to be going a different way than what they started out to be. AND, yes, I find that a bit unsettling too.

What would I like to know?

A lot......the stats on police shootings seem to be a bit vague, and that's troubling too.

Here's hoping that we can find a leader to help us get through all of this without more people dying. Fingers crossed. Elections have consequences.

I love how all the email-gate zealouts suddenly need all the facts before they can render an opinion.. Maybe they've learned something.

As poor old DonDiego recalls things went well right up until the ED-209 went berserk. But, . . . as someone once stated: "What difference, at this point, does it make?"; Detroit was pretty much headed down the shitter back then anyway.


Apparently the newest law-enforcement droids are a significant improvement in technology.



He trusts the new insect-sized devices are engineered to be somewhat more fail-safe than the ED-209. Or at least cognizant of collateral damage.
