Finally heard from the Trump campaign.

Sort of.
It's almost a month since I offered to volunteer for the two campaigns. In the case of the Clinton campaign, I was reached out to almost immediately and invited to a coffee social. I've also gotten several follow-up emails and was even offered a part time job working security at a Bill Clinton appearance.
Today, I got an email from the head of the Nevada Republicans urgently requesting $250 to help keep Syrian refugees out of my neighborhood.
Despite offering my services, it seems they only want money.
Hell of a way to run a campaign.p

Lol, bill, can't you take the hint? The Trump campaign would be happy to take your money, but they are smart enough to not wat your 'help'. Score one for the Trump campaign in my view.

For THE most important volunteer activity, knocking on doors, there is no vetting process. You show up and they give you a map, a precinct list, a script, and some campaign literature. Although it's been eight years since I did it, so now it's probably an app.

Mr. Trump's campaign has no ground game, which is insane. If Hillary is trailing in the polls on election day, she'll probably still win.

And you can bet that $250 will go right to the scammer that sent you that email. It's probably a Syrian nationalist.

Or the Clinton Foundation.

Trump has no ground game in Nevada. None.The bartender at the VFW was trying to get some literature to distribute. It came, a week later, from an Arizona address.
Yet when a vendor in a local flea market sold some unauthorized Make America Great ball caps, he got a cease and desist letter from a Vegas attorney.
One has to wonder where all the money they are raising is going. I've yet to see a Trump ad in what is supposed to be a battleground state.

To be fair - its not a Trump problem. The organized Republican party disintegrated several years ago in Nevada. The Romney campaign had problems too. That's why they nominated Saron Angle in the last Senate election. And Its a shame for them because Nevada historically was a state that leaned right.

Yea, I don't think the Donald has the faintest clue how to run a campaign and I guess it's obvious his campaign staff doesn't either. Well the guys not a politician and has never really run for any office before let alone a NATIONAL campaign so it doesn't surprise me very much. Oh well, I don't think door knocking does that much good anyway does it?

BTW thinking about it, going door to door for the hill might even be a dangerous thing or at least get embarrassed by the number of people completely laughing in their face, I sure as hell wouldn't do any door knocking for her, maybe phones but I think that might bring the equal amount of laughter.
Seriously, I think most people already like her and will vote for her and those people who already can't stand her and know she's a crook and a liar and no way in hell will vote for her.
Same with donald, either are for or against him, no door knocking will change their opinions/votes.

Having a ground game doesn't mean going house to house.
