He is following the letter of Faye's request, which was not to have her there on TG day. Forget that the spirit of the request is being thrown out the window. Many adolecents do this. Oh wait, that's right! Don't place any significance on the fact that he needs to "hide" her from Faye's family. He's doing this to protect them and her, not trying to avoid putting himself in an uncomfortable position like a lot of you think. The fact that he's never had the balls to come to grips with his relationship with and resolve it has no bearing. The important thing is that he's "covered" for this weekend.

Give you more info later. Her truck broke down 5 miles after she crossed the border. I had to go out there and get her. Leaving right now to go get the truck started and bring it back here. Write up to come later.

IMO - Gentleman Jack should only be served neat. Nectar of the Gods!

I've had it mistakenly served on the rocks when ordered neat (stupidly decided to drink it anyway) and the taste in my opinion was ruined. I politely informed the young bartender that if someone orders a drink neat, it's straight from bottle to glass. Not straight up (cooled with ice and then strained), not with ice, just whiskey in a glass. Kids!
