She is only going to rehab to have an excuse for court. The judge ain't going to buy it. Not showing up to court is a problem. You should know that. If you can't make it, you need to call ahead to let them know why. $50,000 warrant seems very high to me but you know more about that than me. If it's higher than normal, she's pissed off a judge.
She's NOT going to rehab for an excuse for court. She's making a tremendous effort to change her life, and I think she's succeeding. She looks better than ever, and she's not missing any classes.
She didn't know that she wasn't going to make Barstow, and if she did, she would have had the paperwork from Barstow to take to Vista to show them she was there. She was very surprised of the high bail also. When we were in Barstow for her not guilty plea, the highest I heard in the court that day was $25000. The Public Defender said she would find out why it was so high when she faced the judge. But I'm sure not going to bail her out this time.
IMO, she should have put off rehab until she finished her business in Barstow. The charges would have been dismissed, and she'd only have to have gone to Vista to settle that business. Now when she goes to Barstow, they might take her into custody for the Vista warrant. She'll then have to go back to Barstow for her not guilty plea. If she gets lucky, the Barstow judge might overlook the Vista warrant, and set another date for her not guilty plea. She's now planning to finish her rehab first so it will show she completed the rehab course, and then go to Barstow and to Vista.
