Firefly restaurant gets a C grade from Health Department

This time at the Henderson location had spoiled food and employees don't like washing hands. Last year the location on paradise road had a salmonella outbreak effecting 300 patrons. I think they closed that location and then reopened another on paradise road.

Firefly rating a C
Waiter there's a firefly in my soup!
I had a conference I attended near LAX. The company putting on the conference didn't provide for lunch at the hotel and the coffee shop was relatively small. We spilled out and the first place down the block was a sandwich shop that had a "C" placard in the window. We chanced it, but I believe a "C" is the lowest you can go before they shut you down.
I think a "C" is as low as you can go. Last years outbreak was very bad. Having spent many years in the F&B biz, I can't believe an owner allowing these conditions to exist after last years problem. A situation like this doesn't evolve because employees are lax one or two hours a day or week, or because of just one or two bad apples. For an owner to not see this, he would have to be blind or just not care. Either way I would cross this place off my list for good.

Good Luck!
