Fish Oil Pills (question)

I've seen some TV ads lately advertising small gelcaps but I can't remember who makes them. If you do an internet search though, there are plenty of the smaller pills out there. I take the ginormous ones and don't have any trouble swallowing them, nor do they smell or taste fishy.
What wrong with just buying a bottle of fish oil and taking a spoonful?

I remember Cod Liver oil when I was a very young kid, and how my mom had to chase and catch my sister. Than me. LOL

Fish oil is, well, oil. Oil goes rancid and breaks down in the air. They can't make pill or gummis. They put the oil inside the gel tab to keep it safe.
Now you know how Linda Lovelace felt.

fish18 - I'll take your word for it.

The "chase and catch" part, that's what's wrong, LOL

How about a teaspoon of fish oil with a whiskey chaser? That should get rid of that awful fish taste.

............ C'Mawn Man ?!?!?

Rock'n Rick's trying to get healthy here, and you guys are making jokes.

I think I'll just start eating sardine sandwiches instead.

Eat the sardine sandwiches if you want, that will work.

But seriously, Rick, you are making a mountain out of a molehill.

Even with the big fish oil pills, I have never heard of anybody having a problem swallowing them.

You could just stick to eating the real thing, you know, omega-3 rich fish like mackarel, tuna, salmon, etc.
