Fitzgeralds is now officially the D Las Vegas

A couple of weeks ago they were taking the old Fitzgerlald's logo off the top of the hotel and in the next few days will have the new sign up.

i was firewalled from the fitzgeralds website, i can get on this one.

the name is stupid.

whoa wait - have they renovated the rooms already? the pictures on the website look fantastic.

They stole the name from the health department. That was the name officails used to refer to Fitzgerald's buffet.

I take that back.

d is for Detroit the son I think, of Mr.Bardon, who passed took over.

I always was curious about the Irish theme. However, I thought the jackets, in particular, were awesome.

Based on the website, I think what they're doing now is becoming more "strip-like" by stealing ideas from the strip:

"The D Casino Hotel is creating a sultry new gaming experience with gorgeous dancing dealers. While providing you with high-energy casino action, these sexy girls will take your game to the next level with their incredible skills on… and off the tables."

I can't see it working any better than the Irish theme.
