Five Guys Burgers & Fries

I just looked up the locations, there's one in Encinitas, which is about 5 miles from where I live. I just might have to stop by.
We don't have In n Outs in albuquerque but we do have 5 guys. I lime them both but prefer in n out. I have to go to Vegas to get my fix. I do lime 5 guys fries the best though
I think Five Guys is OK. I LOVE In-n-Out. But we have Five Guys here and not In-n-Out. I do not like Five Guys fries at all and they are too expensive. Burgers and fries are all about personal taste. I guess just like everything else, lol.

Hi erin. I haven't seen any 5 Guys Burgers in SD. Must be mixing us up with someone else.

There is one in San Marcos, CA near my mother's home.

I was very disappointed. Especially considering all the hype.

Their were so many toppings that the burger bun became soggy. The burger had too much seasoning.

The fries were greasy has heck.

One of the worst hamburgers I have had in a while.
Tried the 5 Guys in St.George after they opened and was disappointed. Heck, the cheese on the burger wasn't even melted!!! Sure was melted in the picture by the register though!I LOVE In n Out burgers (melt in your mouth cheesy goodness) but think their fries are just ok and HATE their too-sweet shakes. The best of both worlds, though, is Smashburger. If I want a sit down burger, I go there. Great seasoning in the meat, flavorful fries, and Haagen Dazs shakes
I think Slapinfunk and I stopped at a 5Guys in the Ventura County area. Near one of the naval bases... we were on the road for work, and not going to the casino near Santa Barbara. LOL

to many toppings?? is that even possible? if you did that at home, the same thing would happen.

If you have never been to a five guys, word to the wise, (at least on the east coast this is true) The portion of fries is HUGE. Order only one for like 4 people. We now order one small fry no matter how many of us go.. Believe me, that is enough.

The one time I did go to in and out, I was surprised to see a very thin burger. Never expected that. Now I know why FATBURGER is called just that. Yea it was good, but not worth another trip.
I'm not a fan of a lot of burger toppings. There's a restaurant in Leucadia called "The Counter" which has a checklist of toppings you can choose for your burger. The first time I tried switching it up and ordered some special toppings and was really disappointed. Now when I go, I just order the classic cheeseburger and I'm never disappointed.
