Five Guys Burgers And Fries!

Yeah, they're great. But Fatburger is better. Too bad the closest one to me is 300 miles.
I was in Florida last January and had Five Guys and well was not impressed. Don't know what the big

deal is about. Recently in Phoenix I went to my first In-N 'Out Burger and enjoyed their food much

better.

Went once. I thought the hamburger was a little too greasy and the fries just so-so. Not that other fast food places are any better, but I expected better for the price. Never been back.
Burger Wars, always an interesting topic. If you believe in a large public opinion sampling, might be worthwhile to see the August 2011 issue of Consumer Reports magazine. More than 36k readers rated various fast food chains. The top rated burger chain was In-N-Out, with Five Guys tied for second.

I found out from my son that there are 4 other Big Five shops around the San Diego area. Well we all know Phil Mickelson...the golfer....famous for his love of IN-N-Out Burger. He's the one that is opening all these stores. I guess he must love Big Five better than In-N-Out. One thing I definitely like better are the Big Five fries. That are much fatter than In-N-Out so they stay hotter longer. That was always my bitch about In-N-Out fries...they got cold too fast. And if you took them home and nuked them, they just weren't the same.
we have one near us, never been there may have to try it. : )
Thanks for the Burger update Bags
We have one locally. Didn't think it was that good.
Prefer Fatburger.
Love Five Guys. The ones here in CT are usually packed. Only tried In N Out once, never been back, but then again, they probably wouldn't last out here, just like Krispy Kreme...Give me DD anyday.
Has anyone tried the new Burger at BK, ......... Swiss and Mushroom ?

It's larger than the regular size burger and is REALLY good ($1.99)

Anyone tried the downtown Heart Attack Grill yet?

Trying to decide if the place is worth checking out on my Christmas trip.
