Flamingo Las Vegas March 13-17

Yo-Eleven - Yes, the long-haul thing was definately there, although he was quite clear that it would cost more. He was friendly during the rest of the trip, hence my 'nice' comment. I don't even allow a chance of a long-haul from the airport, I'm quick with the Tropicana to Koval instructions. Even tho I don't think his intentions were good, at least he was upfront about the extra cost, there are some that just take the tunnel .. period. I was long hauled once many years ago and it won't happen again.

Lion- The Orleans doesn't have a birthday swipe any more, and didn't last year either. Both times I swiped, it said there weren't any promo's i was eligible for. I had also read they had discontinued it prior to my trip last year, but swiped just to make sure. Did the same this year, nothing.

My wife just swiped this month at both locations, and we both swiped at both locations last year. I have no idea why the Orleans isn't working for you. But it did (in fact) work for us. Strange.

I enjoyed your really good trip report. That sounds like the perfect Las Vegas holiday - the only thing that would have made it better was going back with more money than you left with... but hey, you had lots of good fun and food, and $200 is cheap for all that you got. Anywhere else in the states it would cost a lot more to have that same level of entertainment I think!

It made me a bit jealous - I'm a long way away (11,000 miles)... but saying that I'm hopeful to be there either August this year or March next year. In any case I'll let the board know and hopefully meet up with some of the great people I've met on here over the years. Vegas is a great place to meet up with people - so many bars and restaurants, so many shows. Something truly for everyone.
