I'd take the dinner with the unlimited wine and beer for only about $6 more. Seems like a no brainer. However, I seriously question the purported "value" of these coupons. A lunch buffet for 2 at the Flamingo couldn't possibly have a value of $61.96

Last time I was at the Flamingo buffet for lunch was about 2 years ago. Then it was priced in the $15-18 range and was not worth it for that price.
What the heck are they serving for that price. Better be at least Prime Rib and lobster.
The times I ate there I thought it was far from Paradise, and probably one of the worse buffets in the Harrah's/Caesar's system. I suppose if one loaded themselves up with the free beer and wine they wouldn't have to worry about what the food tasted like, and if they got sick they could blame it on the alcohol.

It is the worst dining option at the Flamingo. The Tropical Breeze cafe was always pretty darn good with fresh food, and when I wanted something quick that is where I ate because the buffet was so bad.

We ate at the buffet twice. We gave the place the benefit of the doubt the first time, everyplace has an off day. Not.The second time confirmed the food sucked and was actually worse than the first time.

It has been a long time since I actually ate there but good to see others confirm what I would have said. Though the 2 4 1 price sounds reasonable I would eat elsewhere.
The buffet prices (on the strip) are really starting to get ridiculous. It was only a couple years ago places like the Bellagio/Wynn were charging $30. The dog meat served up at Flamingo isn't worth half that price.

Did brunch there for a wedding rehearsal 2 years ago. The pastries were like the ones you get at your average gas station...and they had the powdered scrambled eggs (because, ya know, real scrambled eggs require a 4 star chef).

A party of two can take a cab to Sunset Station and get a better buffet for a cheaper price (including the cab fare).
I think circus & excalibur buffets used to be $3.99 for dinner
I just got back from Vegas and was pleasesd to find that my personal favorite "great bargain buffet" is still in tact. It is a great secret because it is not advertised. Why not? I was told it's because they don't want to be overrun by drunks.

I am, of course, referring to the Palms lunch buffet for $8.95. That includes UNLUMITED beer and wine - which is what makes this such a great deal. I know we all agreed years ago that the Palms buffet sucked. However, this buffet has been really good for the past couple of years and can stand on its own at that price even without the booze. The inclusion of the alcohol is not stated anywhere and I think that most people dining there didn't even know it was available. You need to ASK. The beer is Miller and the wine is a no name brand. The food included clams, mussels , salmon. several different kinds of shrimp, prime rib, carved turkey, a great mediterranean station, etc. The $8.95 is with players card. It is $12.95 without.

Check it out next time you're in Vegas.
