flamingo pool question

I just booked the Flamingo for our May trip. I thought I read somewhere that if you stay at a harrahs property you could use the pools at any of the harrahs properties. Did any one else hear this or am I wrong. We would like to use the pool at Ceasars so we could play Blackjack in the pool.
I think that used to be the case but is no longer. I think last year the policy changed, if anybody knows different please step in and correct me.

I think you can get in anyways if you are planning to gamble at the pool. It is my understanding that if a pool has gaming it will be available to anyone, not just hotel occupants. If you are playing BJ then you won't have a problem getting in.
Call Flamingo. We rented a cabana a few years ago with good friends. Loved it! Oh and we were not staying at Flamingo. We were at Paris
Last September the Rio pool was free for all and open to the public. They did check your bags to make sure you weren't bringing in your own drinks, however. Does anyone know if this is still the case, as this is a viable option. Stay at Harrahs or IP and shuttle to the Rio for a wonderful pool.

I don't know if every Harrah's hotel does it. There were only a couple that I found would let you use the pool if you were not staying there.

Have you tried Flamingo pool. It is a great area and we had a blast renting a cabana for the day with friends. I'd do it again in a heart beat.
