Flash mob

I just saw on the local news that a flash mob struck here locally(germantown MD). Good news is that due to the quality of the video that over half of 'em got caught allready. I give that .

Well like DD said,the news calls 'em that,not me,but it does seem to fit. And yes,i'll agree, and add F'n punk ash$#&% %$#^%&$# thugs.
This is so far beyond innocent kids been a little mischevious,pulling a prank or stealing a few boxes of donuts. Sure,its pretty small potatoes but it's the attitude /mentality of it.

Some time ago DonDiego posted a thread with videos addressing this new trend in "flash mobs" of robbing 7-11s, and its apparent transmogrification into violent encounters as in Milwaukee. He predicted it would get worse. It has.

WJLA-TV out of Washington DC, the Nations Capital, presents a brief video summary of more current events including the Germantown, MD thefts from a 7-11.

The violent encounters most recently have escalated in Philadelphia and Wisconsin-again, most specifically as folks were exiting the Wisconsin State Fair at its 11:00pm closing. In a surprising report the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel actually documents that-of-which-one-may-not-speak:

The trouble at the fair started around 7 p.m. Thursday in the midway area, where amusement rides are located, when fights broke out among black youths, said Tom Struebing, chief of the State Fair Police. Those fights did not appear to be racially motivated.
Then around the closing time of 11 p.m., witnesses told the Journal Sentinel, dozens to hundreds of black youths attacked white people as they left the fair, punching and kicking people and shaking and pounding on their vehicles.

Odd it isn't being reported as a Flash Mob? Most of the kids involved aren't even being charged, one of the two kids that was charged had his charges reduced to simple assault. I guess it is a good thing for them they didn't steal the Ho Hos from the local 7-11.

Bring some caning here to the USA like they have in Singapore.

We don't use sticks here. Fully automatic machine guns will work wonders. Although they do tend to leave a mess.

Except for the use of an automobile DonDiego concurs there is little to distinguish this event from a "Flash Mob", . . . although he does understand why it isn't referred to as a flash mob. And DonDiego himself wouldn't call it a flash mob; it is apparently a premeditated murder.

CNN provides more detail as to what happened and an explanation as to why certain miscreants were charged as they were charged. It also provides a video of the actual murder.
