Food Network has fired Paula Deen

I can understand why she used the language she did. It does not make it right but growing up in the south in the 1950's and 1960's that is language that was pretty much common place. I speak from first hand experience.

My question is, is she sorry for using that language or sorry because of all of the money she is going to lose.
I just saw that as well and that's a good question. She seems like a very sociable person(I've read that she is the same way off-screen), that has an extremely nice disposition, but who knows, maybe not?

Food Network drops Paula Deen

The Food Network statement did not elaborate on its reasons for dropping her, but a person close to the network said its shows featuring her sons, Jamie and Bobby, would not be affected. Ms. Deen currently has three regular programs on the network, including “Paula’s Best Dishes.”

The bigger question is what happens to all the Paula Deen buffers scattered around the Caesar's empire? I really liked the one in Tunica.

Terrible news for the insulin industry.
I guess it doesn't pay to be truthful under oath! Look what happened when Mark Furhman wasn't!

Stick a fork in her!
She just lost her Smithfield Ham gig. And QVC is "reviewing" their business relationship with her.
