Food stamps at casinos?

Try the gift shop convenience store at Circus-Circus, Western, or El Cortez.

Her "Benefit Card" should be good in any state, for non-taxable food items, including canned food, chips, candy bars, juice, milk, etc.

Or, she could go to Walgreens, CVS, Supermarket, etc and get stuff there also.

Personally, if what you say is true, IMO, she should be investigated and prosecuted for fraud.

And your apparent support of her plan is appalling.

Let's see if I have this right. So financially she's in a position to need government aid for food stamps. Yet she's also in a position to take a trip to Vegas (for an entire week no less), stay at Caesars and Palazzo (high end properties), and (presumably) gamble? And she wants to know if she can redeem the food stamps in casinos while she's there. This has GOT to be a joke. If it isn't, oh my god.......
Of COURSE it's a joke! EllenMonster has a history of ridiculous posts designed to yank people's chains. Either that or she is in need of professional help. I can't beleive some of you are taking this seriously, LOL.
Dear Ellen,
Rent Vegas Vacation for your gal pal-- she needs to use those stamps at the casinos Cousin Randy takes Chevy..
These Strip snobs are killing my buzz.
I know for a fact you can use them at the tables of The Longhorn instead of chips

Hey Ellen! Did you ever get rid of that bad rash that you got down below!
The sad thing about this posting, whether true or not, is that there are people on welfare/ food stamps that would consider such a question as logical, and if refused would want to know why. This type of thinking is the end result of decades of the ACLU and left coast liberalism. And California wonders why it is in such dire financial straits. The beat goes on....

hey! I resent that remark;
the Right Coast is equally liberal and in dire straits too (great name for a group, BTW!)

Nothing sad about this posting except your response
Kind of like MoneyLA said, the dealers at the Shreveport casino told me they get much busier on the days the welfare payments come out.
In California its no joke. The welfare benefits which are paid via debit cards can be redeemed at only certain ATM machines... including the ATM network operated inside the various card clubs and casinos here in Calif. The state is now trying to change its contract with the ATM operator so that these welfare cards cant be used at its casino ATMs.

Exactly. As long as these forums exist, there will always be gullible people who take Ellenmonster seriously.
