Our local news did a story about this kind of stuff going on in Las Vegas , Hawaii and California. Between Unemployment and food stamps/

It was at a time, but I seem to remember reading that Arnold was looking at changing that. Don't know what happened. I do know that here in Las Vegas, the EBT cards (which is like a welfare card) can be used at 711 and the mini markets at Rebel gas stations or Terribles. They advertise it now. The shame is, that we as taxpayers are stuck paying for all this. Supposedly those cards should be used for healthy, nutricious food to feed poor people, but they are given way too easily it seems. Its too bad they don't drug test or cigarette test people before they can get those things, and they should never be allowed to be used in casinos - DUH!!!!!
