For a change, some gambling chit-chat.

Allright so enough about Obama and his imposter-injected presidency. Enough about Harry Reid's lying and gimpiness. Enough with the RIP's and get well soons. What I'd like to read is more stories from bagiant about the Silverton, his mistress, and their legal battles. What I want is more gambling reports, hooker encounters, and where people throw up downtown. And I want more craps episodes and poker stories! Why is everyone so gambling-anemic on the boards?

This forum is so tough to navigate. It's slow. So who wants to liven it up with some juicy black jack stories or betting wild on sports? Yes I could mosey over to vpfree and watch paint dry as poster after poster worries about five cents in comps or why they had to pay a buck fifty more than some other crybaby for a week's rental car.

Then if anyone has time to waste they could go visit the official Caesar's Entertainment Corporation's official stump site, aka Alan Best's forum or something close to that. It's where any Harrah's frustrated patron goes to explain how much of their hard earned wages they throw away into the Harrahs hole, then belly-ache repeatedly over how badly they get treated by those "crooks". Or if you're interested in vp-extraordinaire Singer's big jackpot pics then this is your place, until you figure out that no one really wants to see anyone else's wonderful winners. But hold on there pardner. You mean there's only five members there?

I tried Wong's BJ21 for a while. That was it's usual "get a little/give a little" self, until some court case came along exposing the site's owner as an imposter along with a couple other Las Vegas hucksters.

I gave Wizzard's site a looksee but in all honesty, those people talk way over my simple head. Boring just doesn't do that forum enough justice.

So bagiant, how about moving up your next trip by a couple of days. It's also tax season. Anyone seen Jean Scott? Has she talked anyone else out of playing video poker over 25 cents yet in order not to screw up your AGI's? I listened, and all I've been playing this past year is black jack, where as far as I know NOTHING gets reported.

I'll put it in before anyone else does: +1

Haven't you heard? This is no longer a Las Vegas board, it's a political board where all the gasbags try to prove how brilliant they are, and quickly end up proving they have never risen above a junior high mentality.
Well, albeadle, you're certainly free to contribute your gambling reports to this forum or to the "Trip Reports" forum on the paid side, especially if they are as juicy as you want others' reports to be. I suspect most of the readers on this website have a good but generally mundane time on their gambling excursions, and who are we to find fault with that?

During my last trip to Vegas, we came back with the money we brought with us, even after paying for gas, tips, and food/drinks. Room and meals were comped. No hookers or vomiting involved, but I was well satisfied with the trip and most likely most readers would find such a trip satisfactory as well.

I'm at the Luxor. It's nicer than I thought it would be.

DonDiego is at home. It's about what he expected.

Luxor is a fine hotel. Very refreshing to see someone staying at and enjoying a nice location instead of at one of the usual cheap joints people tend to honk on and on about around town.

How did your gambling go? Are you one of the gambling fools who's caught up in the vid poker craze that then has buyer's remorse over that increased AGI when this time of year approaches?

I read much about royals on these boards, but I think the biggest AGI killer and dumbest gambling story I've seen is on the Alan's Best Harrahs board, where that forum's owner's child got the enjoyment of five single line royals in one days play and went home crying because he couldn't stop playing and lost money in the end. Like father like son I suppose. Read some threads there and you'll see what I mean. Too bad, so sad.

My latest gambling trip report saw me at Mandalay Bay three weeks ago. Two days, $25 black Jack tables only, losing just $350. Was up $1300 at one point and down $5500 at another. Ended on a good run with more than my share of BJ's. Half my food was comped, danced one of the nights away, and got laid twice. The last was a mind-blowing experience that I'll not soon forget. I walked away with a limp for days. Sure made me forget about how the Obama crew of liars and idiots just keep thinking all these healthcare "fixes" are being slipped into play without any of us stupid voters noticing.

Back to your old stealth self-promotion tricks Robbie? That didn't work out too well for you when you recently tried it as TournamentKing over at the Wizard of Vegas forums did it? But since you seem to be desperately trying to claw your way back into the spotlight after wearing out your welcome at Alan's' forum lets see if we can help get you the full amount of attention you deserve!

Instead of just mentioning your winning pictures don't you think people would also be interested in knowing that you were caught lying when posting them?

The basic description of the events can be found in this post at Alan's forum. The forum administrator called Rob out for having images with dates embedded in the file name that didn't match the accompanying story, the first example of which is here. The story was that the picture was taken a little bit before Christmas in 2013 with the image showing a $50,000 win, but the file name clearly shows that the picture was actually taken about 6 months earlier, in late July. Oops. In another post the claim was for a $100,000 win, yet the supporting image had a date that was 2 weeks earlier. Oops. Oops. There was a triple oops too, but it was only a day out of sync so that one could be just the result of a massive shift in the time/space continuum.

Au contraire: people do like to see other peoples winners provided that they believe them. They just don't get too excited about forgeries.

Very interested with the charge that BJ21.com's owner is an imposter! Stanford Wong is known as the owner of the BJ21 website. Did Wong sell BJ21 to an "imposter along with a couple other Las Vegas hucksters"? I think Wong is a stand-up guy and have bought his books along with being a reporter for Current Blackjack News (CBJN) a few years ago. Or is this an early April Fools joke?

Agreed ! More "Vegas" stories, pics, etc. Don't come here to hear political rants, etc.
What ever happened to pics of VP porn ? Used to love looking at good hits by others.
Maybe that's why so many old "regulars" have disappeared ?
Vegas was built on and thrived on the premise of: over-indulgence, gambling, booze and sex...ya know, FUN stuff!
I'll be there in 30 days...and I won't give a rat's ass about Obamacare, somebody's gay marriage or that 6 cows were found dead in Montana.
I'll read about all that stuff AGAIN when I get home.
Hey...if ya don't LOVE Vegas...go somewhere else !
Just sayin'....
