The former President of Panama is alive?

Manuel noriega is being deported from France to stand trial in Panama for his actions as President/dictator.

I thought that "Pineapple face" was dead and buried.....

Perhaps this is a good time to reflect on what else you believe that isn't true.

One of America's finest government employees of all time.

Yes, he had the good fortune to be arrested, afforded prisoner of war status, and criminally prosecuted by civil courts in the US at a time when that nation's leadership took the Geneva Convention seriously.

Having completed his US sentence, in 2007 he was extradited to France, which also tried and convicted him in a manner consistent with the Geneva Convention, which that nation also takes seriously. Now he's in Panama, facing trial there, a trial expected to be run in compliance with the Geneva Convention.

At another time, the US probably would have just locked him up in some secret prison somewhere to rot, with no access to due process. He should consider himself lucky.

I don't care what you say...I'm glad Obama decided not to bring Bin Laden back for trial.

I don't know that we know that he made such a decision. How do you know that President Obama forbade live capture?

Seriously, how do you know that?

How do you know that he was killed, and not captured, and locked away in some secret prison where he will never see the light of day? Or entered a witness protection program and is working at some convenience store along side Elvis?

Sheesh....

That is not true ! Elvis is working at a Burger King in Kalamazoo, MI. Has worked his way up to Asst. Night Manager.

I read it in the National Enquirer.....so it has to be the truth !
