Glad you came back!
The FFA forum gets the most action.
On the paid side, some days there are just dribs and drabs as compared to years ago.
Questions about this or that comp or that casino company.
Always some good Trip Reports, though. I think it is only recently (last couple of years?) that people started posting Trip Reports on the FFA, which is a good thing.
As said, still some good food and show reviews (though look to the TRs for more)
All in all, still good stuff IMO.
The so-called golden days...well.
True enough, there were the fair-haired kids, lots of cloying praise about anything they wrote.
They could post the alphabet and generate 20-30 "so wonderful" replies.
But they generated a lot of fun reading, too, and some friendships that still stand without LVA as the glue.
(Can you tell I was never in the fair-haired clique? LOL)
Some of them left for various reasons (life changes, somebody pissed them off, needed distance from gambling environs, etc.).
Others caved into bullying by one or more of the fair-haired, who could always count on their admirers to pile on.
What drove many away was the glacial slowness of page loading for a long time. I guess that is better now (or is it better because I got a new computer?).
