Four Queens downgrade

The four machines that have $1 10/7 DB (by the cage) now take $20 coin-in to
earn one point, the same as the $1 10/7 DB progressive.
Forgive me I am unfamiliar with their rewards system...

I know caesars total rewards is $10 coin in per point for any video poker... $5 per point for slots...

Is it like that there? And just on these machines they adjusted it?
On all the other VP at the Four Queens, $8 coin-in = 1 point.

Since 40 points = $1 in cash back, the cash back rate was lowered from .3125% to .125%.
Not a bad cash back deal there though...

Sucks they switched the point system on you though...

Good luck

I'm happy as long as the quarter 10/7 DB progressives stay at .3125%.
I can remember when those used to be .500% though.
Reading about this makes me feel so bad about the total rewards cash back system... at rincon its .1% on vp (not counting other free play offers though)... this is cash back at rincon though too...

I'm sorry to hear that but thanks for proivding the info Don. I can't imagine anyone playing those machines except for the ones who actually play the 8/5 DDB. The progressive bank should be a lot more crowded now.

Rincon has a trick with their "cash back" because it is really "bounce back." You have to return to the casino the following month to collect. And to collect you have to go to a slot or VP machine, insert your card, and enter the "redemption code."

This entices you to start playing the money when you can actually hit "cash out" and take your ticket to the nearest redemption machine or the cage.

The "bounce back" money redemption codes are usually sent at the same time as "free play codes" are sent out, and Im sure management is hoping you will play the money instead of putting it in your pocket.

Back in the good old days it was true cash back, when at the end of a trip or stay you would simply "cash out" and get your money. Now if you don't "bounce back" within 30 days its lost.
The argument is that you're offered more in bounce back than you would be in cash back. The reason is fairly simple....the casino knows that not everyone will be available to take advantage of the bounce back so their actual out of pocket is less.

Alex, you hit it on the head...no reason to play a flat top if you can play the progessive and get the same amount of cash back. I never seem to recall that the progressive bank there gets particularly high so I assume it gets a lot of play.

4Q is still a decent play....still a positive game with same day cash back. Not many of those around these days. The mailer is decent as well so while it's not good news, it's not the end of the world.

Dan
I envy those of you who play at same day cash back casinos. I remember the good old day when I would leave Caesars with nice "going home money." Now Caesars has no cash back and no bounce back. The Indian casinos here in SoCal all have some form of CB or BB but then the casinos here operate as "local casinos" and they know that the next joint might be only a ten minute drive. Heck, between Pechanga and Rincon there are at least five casinos that I know of which makes it very competitive for day trippers. I havent been to Morongo in about two and a half years and if I recall it had same day CB.
