Okay, in the passage that the Brietbart's are citing, claiming she is plagiarizing Alinsky, Michelle Obama is QUOTING HER HUSBAND.

Do you really think it's possible to plagiarize someone you are quoting?


I think you are either trying to wiggle off the hook or you can't read. Show me where she attributes any of her speech to what Alinsky wrote. You can't. They give highlighted passages of it.

That's okay. We understand how you feel when you can't put up any kind of worthy defense.

Right. Because a once-a-year; tongue-in-cheek political post about a topic the whole country is discussing is the equivalent of the non-stop, incessant 24/7 partisan postings that have served the purpose of fumigating the LVA Free For All of rationale people.

Dang. Having listened to Mrs Trump, and then comparing that to posts about what Mrs Obama said some years ago, and comparing that to what my wife has said about me (publicly, of course), I don't really find a lot of difference. Please don't get me wrong...I'm not much to brag about, but wifey certainly does, with her big doe eyes, and heart melting smile. Since I've listened to wifey's public comments for years before Michelle gave her speech, I'm inclined to think that Michelle plagiarized my wife! I don't have a problem with that...I have a problem with whoever/whatever was recording my wife in order to plagiarize her.

This is really one funny thread......you mean that there are real people out there who think that a Republican speech writer went looking for a speech to plagiarize, and he found Michelle Obama? Really?

If I was going to plagiarize, at least I would steal from someone worth the effort. The only thing Michelle has that I would like to steal is the scowl she uses on her husband.

No it's a she - a former professional ballet dancer and Trump ghost writer.

And the debate is over. One of Trump's current campaign co-chairman admits it was plagiarism. His former campaign manager admits it. And here's a Fox News video showing a side-by-side version of Mrs. Obama's and Mrs. Trump's speeches. Did you get that? - Fair and Balanced Fox News!

And all the Trump campaign had to do was admit one of their speech writers screwed up and move on. But instead they denied, blamed and attacked, making themselves look like Amateur Hour. And making their defenders look even stupider - if that's possible.

They must have studied Personal Responsibility at Trump University.

I seem to recall two parts that were different in their speeches. Michelle said something to the effect "that for the first time, I'm proud to be an American".

Where Melanea talked about how proud she was to become and be an American. I don't think it's ever been any big secret of Michelle's love lost for this country.

I really could care less about the whole thing except that Melania Trump is much more, way more easy on the eyes than grumpy ol' MO.
