Fox Rent a Car

Looking for info on Fox Rent a Car, looking to rent a car for our trip in June. they seem to have the best rates but it looks like they are not located at the Airport rent a car center

any one use them before and what was your experience with them

Thanks, Mike
I just booked a car with Alamo for our trip May 22-26th went with Costco and this included extra driver at no extra charge. booked a mid size with a free upgrade to a standard vehicle. $207.00 total. Well worth checking them out for your trip. I think with F ox you need to go to the rent a center then take another bus to Fox. who wants to play that game. It would have to be a great deal of savings for me to have to take the extra shuttle. I checked around and this was the best deal I could find. If you book it you can always cancell and re-book at the lower rate.
Never used FOX because I've heard horror stories about their insurance policy. When renting cars most people waive the rental insurance because it is covered by their regualr car insurance or credit card or something.

According to the stories I've heard FOX will also allow you to waive their insurance HOWEVER you must show proof that you are indeed covered via some other source. Since most people aren't in the habit of carrying around a copy of their auto insurance or credit card agreement they are forced to purchase the FOX Rental insurance...and suddenly their discounted rates aren't so discounted after all.

Before renting with them I would read the fine print and make sure you will be in a position to avoid their insurance.
thanks for the responses, good info.

thanks again, Mike

I rented from them in December. Had no problem with insurance hassles. They had limted selection of cars, I wanted to rent a Ford Fusion all they had were mustangs which were out of my price range and KIA's. They were short staffed, and to get there you had to catch a shuttle to the rental car center and then another shuttle to the Fox location. The staff friendly and easy to deal with. If saving a few dollars is worth more than convience and a little time then Fox is alright. If you are in a hurry or want a great selection and fast service try another company.
Do Fox cars veer off to the right?
