FPDW @ Palms

vpfree states that the FPDW has been removed at the Palms. Any info?
Apparently there has been a holocaust of 100% machines at Pams, not just the revered FPDW progressives.
Thanks Ceasers.
We just got to the Palms ready to play them. Saw they were
gone but just thought they moved them. We walked all around
And couldn't find them. That was quite a surprise.

Damn shame. Go to Sam's Town.

Besides the $.25 FPDW, they also downgraded the $1 10/7 DB progressive by the buffet entrance to 9/7. It is my understanding that they also removed/downgraded the other full pay games by the valet entrance...but I personally did not confirm.
I was going out there in two weeks. Enjoyed playing them.
I have reservations at the Palms. I guess their greed is going to cost them 3 room nights.
I'm still not sure where I'm going to move to.
Suggestions?
B
Surprised they lasted this long. Its well documented that some of the biggest players in Vegas played at the Palms in their regular rotation. Just wondering how much longer they'll be any VP games anywhere in Vegas that will be positive games as now the big players will be forced to hit the remaining games even harder.
pokerwayne,

I have to disagree that the changes have anything to do with "the biggest players in Vegas". This is what has been removed to this point:

MIA: (10) 25c Prog : 100.76% DW near the front (valet) doors
MIA: (10) 25c : 100.65% JW, 100.17% DB, 100.15% LDW, 100.07% DDB near the front (valet) doors
Downgraded: (10) $1 100.17% DB 5-way Prog in front of buffet entrance downgraded to 99.11% DB

The two banks of machines near the main entrance were single line quarters. They were for fleas. No offense meant by the use of the flea term, despite its genesis, it is now a common description of players who grind away at low denominations. Most of the regulars players were locals even though many of us visitors played them too. They were near the front doors for a reason, walking into the casino I think George wanted to have occupied machines as the first impression.

The progressive $1 10/7DB used to get some more serious play, at one time it was a faster meter and the machines were new and fast. I seem to remember that they were even nice slant-tops early on, but they are now uprights. It had become a slow meter after being quite fast during some periods and many of the machines were slow to the point that pro types likely found them unplayable. I happened to be on a trip there early last week, that bank was only getting light play.

Don the Dentist, who posted earlier in this thread would be able to confirm what my observations tell me as through many years of reading his posts I know he is well versed in what type of play most of the positive machines in Las Vegas get.

I'm guessing that the high end sharp players at the Palms are playing the $1/$2 3/5 Play NSUDS and similar offerings when coupled with the right slot club benefits. I don't see any inventory change for those, it might be coming, but it has not yet.
So is the Palms in fact a Harrah's property now?
Those NSUD are NOT eligible for promotions.
