Frankie the Valet

I had to do it . Bags had started a good thread about valets with some good feedback . It is unfortunate that I don't think Frankie our token valet would post on it.
If you do read it Frankie you will see what is going on.
It is all about the cost of tipping a valet and what is right or wrong. The newspaper article about some valet at Boulder Station is interesting too.

Let's not create a Bags/Rizzo feud guys and gals . This is about valets in general. Frankie just happens to be the only valet I know by name though I have never met him.

Here is my fee schedule $ 5 when I show up and $2-$3 when I leave , Fair ?

Fair to Frankie. Over paying to me.

Frankie recommends you tip at a higher level.

Frankie says Relax, don't do it.

I don't know why people want to keep perpetuating this "feud" between Frankie and me. We haven't had any "words" lately, and that's the way it should be. He thinks I'm a "creep", and I don't know what I can do to change his mind. Other people have met me and think I'm a nice guy. Just like Frankie says, "I'm a nice guy...I really am!" I'm sure he is, but so am I. Maybe one of these days we'll meet in person and straighten things out. Nothing is impossible you know.

Bagiant, don't be worrying about. Whatever is up with you and Frankie is between you 2. We are just trying to figure out what is the deal with the valet article. Frankie is needed to give some insite as to some of the real deal so we can understand what the haps is.

Bags I was hoping this wouldn't happen. I know Frankie doesn't have kind words . I am sure i could meet you say you are one of the nicest people I ever met. Unfortunately frankie has some hard feelings that he will not be so forgiven. I rather not get involved .
I was just trying to get some input on the valet topic because it would be interesting to hear firsthand from a valet himself.

Somebody mentioned Frankie probaly wouldn't want to get himself on the radar with the IRS telling how much money he makes on tips.
Guess I have to cut it down a little . Instead of $ 5 on the arrival it will be $2 and upon depature instead of $2 it will be a $1. That will keep you under the radar Frankie.

I thought the article bagiant posted was very good.As far as Frankie not posting on this topic,it's his choice.He obviously likes his privacy.I once pm'd him about meeting up with him at the valet where he works at,he politely asked me not to.And I respect him for that.
