Free behind the scenes tour of Ka

Ka is my favorite show, so was surprised to find out that Tuesdays in August at 11 and 11:30 a free tour of the theater and set....was only 20 minutes. Fun, if you were at mgm...wouldn't go out of my way....lots of kids thought it was cool.

All it did was make me want to go to the show...amazing theater and set.

I hope that's something they keep doing - I'd love to see it.

The KA set was omn an episode of
Modern Marvels(Discovery channel show), I think it was titled world's most expensive doohickys(I can't remember what the title was exactly, most expensive something or other).

Anyway, when they went down through the mech room and and all the hydraulics it was pretty amazing to see. I'd love to check it out if MGM still has the tours next time in Vegas. Ka was my favorite show also, took our 21 yr old son last time and he was amazed, absolutely loved it.

I would absolutely go to see this tour. That stage is just so usual. I would go if they had one of O also.

Where did you find out about the tour??? I'd like to be able to check to see if they're still doing this when I'm there in November. Thanks!

Word of mouth, but when I walked in they were announcing it on speakers to the floor....they didn't let us "behind the stage"...we went into the theater and sat, but they had the "wall" pop up and she said a few things about it.....if there, worth a few minutes, if not there, not worth out of the way.

I would just call the theater, it is a marketing ploy for sure, but the people were nice, answered questions, a few trivia facts, that sort of thing....they put out a few costumes a la hard rock displays, etc....spoke about the sound system, etc...had the wall do a few display tricks, etc...
