Chick-Fil-A is pretty friggin good as far as fast food goes.
i dont eat a lot of fast food but I do like chick fil a. I like their shakes, nuggets, strips, fries, and cole slaw before it was discontinued.
I thought this was a protest for range free.

It's unbelievable the lines at the chick-fil-a's around here, inside an ond out. Inside and out they;re huge even with the double drive thru's.

I've looked imto getting a franchise, it's not exhorbatant but there's other costs and they have rules and I've heard they're particular who they give them out to..

even though they have always been profitable while being closed on Sundays, as a franchisee -- it would kill me to NOT be open on Sunday. I respect the company for its religious beliefs, but I couldn't help but think of the money that I would be missing out on as I drive by the other fast food joints and see how busy they are.
The local Chick-Fil-A has a promotion on Mondays in which by bringing one's, or someone else's, church bulletin to the restaurant one receives a free chicken sandwich if one orders a chicken sandwich.

DonDiego understands that some Chick-Fil-A restaurants around the USA have been forced to cease this promotion by The Courts on anti-religious grounds.
DonDiego doesn't understand why anyone would want to deny someone else a free piece of delicious chicken, . . . but there are such people.

The same law that made racial discrimination illegal in public accommodations, such as the Woolworth's lunch counter in Greensboro SC and Lester Maddox's chicken restaurant, also makes religious discrimination illegal. And that's a good thing.

Anyone may walk into DonDiego's Chick-Fil-A with any church bulletin and take advantage of the free chicken sandwich offer.
One may obtain the church bulletin by walking into a church and picking one up. DonDiego supposes that's how just about everyone taking advantage of the offer obtains their bulletin.

It doesn't matter if one associates oneself with the church, or with another church, or no church at all.
Anyone may pick up a church bulletin and get a free sandwich ! ! ! If one chooses to be baptized at the time, he may request it, but it is not necessary, . . . neither is confession, . . . or hymn singing, . . . or snake handling. Just pick up a church bulletin and get free chicken !

n.b. For the record, poor old DonDiego is not a member of any church. He hasn't pledged himself to any God; he's confused by the plethora of available Gods and fears he might choose the wrong one. That could be a big mistake. And he's not sure any of them is "real" anyway.

DonDiego does occasionally attend church, because his wife likes him to do so, . . . usually on church holidays and such. He found himself in a large church on Easter Sunday with his wife and daughter and little granddaughter; somehow his granddaughter has wormed her way into poor old DonDiego's course old heart.
Anyway the church had a small band accompanying the choir and congregation. DonDiego never participates in the singing. But, . . . on this Easter one of the hymns was Schiller's Ode to Joy *, which DonDiego knows by heart in German. So while everyone sang along in English, DonDiego enjoyed singing joyously in German.
It was wonderful.

*The Ode to Joy is featured in the final movement of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, . . . one of DonDiego's favorite pieces of music.

A lot of DonDiego's posts probably sounded better in the original German.

Teacher: Who can give me an example of proper usage of the term “free-range” in a sentence?

Johnny [raising hand]: I can! I can!

Teacher: Alright, go ahead, Johnny.

Johnny: If we didn’t classify forkush as free-range, we could keep him locked in a cage.

Teacher: Very good, Johnny. That’s proper usage, and a great idea, too.
