Cocktail service varies so much among casinos!
The bar service is always great because you are right there, already.
Table games service has always been great at the Fremont,MSS and the Downtown Grand.
Service at the slots depends on when you are there: time of year, time of day and whether the are in the middle of a shift change.
I'm on the floor playing the machines and need a drink,I'll BUY the first one.
My first one goes down slowly, later in the evening the drinks MUST come at a much higher rate!
Some casinos don't care if you have 2 going at once. Others do.
I usually play my video poker at the bar, anyway.
Start with black jack, move to the bar for some video poker and then... Here comes the wild white guy at the craps tables!
Reserve me a wheel chair,security.
I remember when I get lousy cocktail service.(4 Queens) Not when the service is on a regular basis!
I ain't no cheap-O,but not a high roller.
As the evening progresses, the bets get larger. FACT.
BJ:
"Gee,this is a boring game." The dealer said,"Bet bigger."
OK,then the cocktail server throws out her chest, during my beer order, and I loose my count. Damn.
I remember some of them.
Craps? It has it's ups and downs.
Been hitting your numbers? Call for "Cocktails!"
The box man mumbles,"Yeah, she will be around." But I want another, RIGHT NOW.
"Can I get a wheel chair with that?"
The PB will call security. Easy!
I stay where I play.
"Are you a guest in our hotel?",the dealer asks at Harrah's.
"Naw,I'm stayen' downtown."
"May I suggest a comped cup of coffee?"
I'm OUTATHERE.
Yeah,I've been "cut off" B-4.
"Free cocktails" are one reason that I go there. For me,it's a large budget expense, otherwise.
I just drink beer! No call drinks.
As the bar tenderness ask me if I want another beer,I'll say, "Yes,I'm workin' on a hang over, here."
Thank you.
