In case you have not seen the commericals. If you purchase products at Walmart you can either scan your receipt with your phone using their savings catcher app or go to their website and punch in the code from your receipt. They will scan competitor prices in your area and reimburse (via an egiftcard) you any money you would have saved shopping somewhere else. We average $1 - $4 per receipt.

I thought so. I can only vouch for how it works here in Vegas. We have a lot more competing stores in the city and it may improve my chances of getting cash back. If you live in a rural area it may not be as effective. Never hurts to try. You can load up to 8 (or something like that) receipts every week. They are probably restricting it so people dont dive into the garbage and load a ton of receipts.

I have a personal thing against WMT, not a huge thing, but enough that I'll never spend another nickel there if I can help it.
