I am having the high stress month of all months at work!
So, what does one do when the stress gets to high? At 8:15 am he text's his wife and says "I am going to Vegas, this is gonna happen--- you in or out? 5 minutes later, I get a text giving me permission to not only to go, but to go to Las Vegas ALONE and have a good time! This is like the 3rd time in my 32 year marriage that she let me go to Vegas alone.
I then fill out the paperwork for time off at work, and at 8:30 am I run into my bosses office and in 5 minutes he signs the vacation slip and gives it back to me and say's have a good time! Again, that is only the second time in 23 years that he has signed my vacation slip without falling on the floor and whined for two days trying to guilt me into not going.
At 8:45 am, I am on the Southwest airlines web site looking for the nearest date at the cheapest rates when I notice that's it's................Friday the 13th!
Should I even be thinking about buying airline tickets to Vegas on Friday the 13th? Will this put bad mojo on the whole trip? Should I still click yes or wait till tomorrow? The best deal I could get was $279 RT and I have to wait about 3 weeks.
