Full house with 3 Aces

Granted, we all know that the math is correct-for LONG TERM- but since I don't have access to video poker, LONG TERM, I prefer to "take a chance" and discard the pair. After all, it is gambling.
Arc, you make sense of course. Ive gotten full houses in 8/5 bonus with three aces before... many times in fact... and always held them. This time I was "stuck" as Bagiant says.

Bagiant, I went on to hit quad aces two more times that night. My goal that night was to keep playing as long as profitable (I did leave with a profit, but not with the peak profit) because the longer I played the more tier points and cash back I was accumulating. So in addition to my cash profit I added about $300 in cash back and comp dollars and the comp dollars will be used towards Shell gas cards. On my previous trip I got $500 in Shell gas cards and on my next trip will probably redeem for $250 more. (gas per trip to Rincon is about $40 for me, and damnt I have to use premium, slapinfunk's car uses regular.)
I always break up the Full House when I'm dealt it with 3 Aces .............. That's why it's called "gambling".

Rick
Money, I'll propose you a bet: we remove 3 aces from a standard 52-card deck and I'll deal you 2 cards from the remaining 49. If one of them is the last ace I'll pay you $400, if it's not you pay me $25. Would you take that bet? Do you thing Mr. Argentino would take it?

I dont do coin flips (heads on US coins are heavier) and I dont play with decks of less than 52 cards.

In my life Ive seen too many people lose on coin flips, three card street games, and my career was spent dealing with people who don't play with full decks.
I dont pretend to be an advantage player. I go for it when I get a good deal...and the odds usually strike me down for it. But so what?

The closest I've ever got to a royal flush was when I was dealt a straight flush in 8/5 BP with four to the royal (9,10,J,Q,K). I threw out the "9" and hoped for the Ace. I got shit and tossed away my straight flush in the process....and if I had to do it over again I would play it exactly the same way. Kiss my ass, Bob Dancer =)

However, this is exactly what you do when you break the FH trying to get a 4oak.
It depends on whether the machine is a progressive. If the Quad 2s, 3s and 4s haven't reset in a few hours, I discard the three Aces and go for four-of-a-kind 3s. I might even keep 3 3 and one Ace as a kicker.

Dancer probably would kiss your ass (in thanks). If many took his advice to heart, the casinos could no longer afford to offer any beatable games at all.
Don't kid yourself about "the casinos could no longer afford to offer any beatable games at all"- the casinos make plenty of money, and the few offered beatable games generate a very minute percentage of the overall revenues that the casinos collect.
