Full house with 3 Aces

In my life Ive seen too many people lose on coin flips, three card street games, and my career was spent dealing with people who don't play with full decks.

However, this is exactly what you do when you break the FH trying to get a 4oak.

Yep, this is what I did, and this time it worked. All the other times I held the full house with three aces and every time I wondered just what I missed out.

Yes, even Singer would say I was nuts for not holding this particular full house because I was on an 8/5 game. But Singer says he holds only the aces on a 7/5 game.

When I last played Bonus at Caesars it was a 7/5 game and there I also held the full houses, just as the books said to do. But I was left wondering what I missed by playing "correctly."

Sometimes the road less traveled....

But I concede I got lucky. But in my case that night it was either get lucky or get out of there and go home. I wanted to play some more-- and lucky I got.

Just past $141.

Money, I'll propose you a bet: we remove 3 aces from a standard 52-card deck and I'll deal you 2 cards from the remaining 49. If one of them is the last ace I'll pay you $400, if it's not you pay me $25. Would you take that bet? Do you thing Mr. Argentino would take it?
(Should be remove two aces and a pair, and peel 2 from the remaining 47.)

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile? A stopped clock is right twice a day?

BTW, it wouldn't have cost you 40 coins if you failed. Since you kept 3oak you were giving up a max of 25 coins.

Money's threads are generally interesting and informative. His topics generate a large amount of interest, hits, and great conversation.Without Money's topics, this site would get very boring, very quickly. Get over your envy of him, you reek of jealousy.

Maybe you would prefer to chime in on the thread titled "greatest country song ever". YeeHaww

I only post about 3 times a year, when someone says something really idiotic. Congratulations tomdoug,
you're the leading candidate for most ignorant of 2011.

I see nothing in archimedes posts that aren't based upon logic and sound mathematics. Regarding your analysis of his psyche, tell me Dr. tomdoug where did you get your psychology degree from?

I do agree that MoneyLA's posts are entertaining.

I've supported Money's posts many times in the past. That doesn't change my comment on this thread in the least. It's only you that appear unable to comprehend simple sentences. One more example of tom (or is it doug)'s complete lack of intelligence.

Why would you post into the thread if you felt the thread had no basis? Dope.

I posted to correct the error in credits lost. Unlike you I deal in facts, not rumor. Some day, when you graduate from preschool, you might be able to figure this stuff out.

I just want to commend PjStroh for being honest and for having the guts I dont have. He wrote:

"The closest I've ever got to a royal flush was when I was dealt a straight flush in 8/5 BP with four to the royal (9,10,J,Q,K). I threw out the "9" and hoped for the Ace. I got shit and tossed away my straight flush in the process....and if I had to do it over again I would play it exactly the same way. Kiss my ass, Bob Dancer =) "

I was at Rincon maybe about a year ago when a lady was dealt a king high straight flush, and discarded the 9, and got the royal for $4800. NEVER would I do that. But don't tell that lady she was wrong. Because she has $4800 worth of "right" that the rest of us playing that progressive that night didnt get.
