Full Tilt Poker Refunds

Just received an email from the FTP Claims Administration stating that my request for refund has been accepted and my full balance will be refunded within 7 days. Anyone else get this email? If this is true I am pretty excited as I had kissed that money good bye long ago. If true my bankroll just rose significantly.

I checked on my account a few months ago and decided I'd rather let them keep my $2.59 than divulge my social security number to them. If I had a significant amount of money held hostage, I'd play their game.

These idiots asked me to resubmit my claim but it couldn't be done. What a bunch of jerks. They asked me where I opened my bank account and I said it didn't matter since they had my banking info. Now they are screwing me around!

Is this a possible phishing scam?

Probably not. It seemed legit to me. It just wasn't worth the $2.59 to me on the slight possibility it was a phishing scam plus I didn't want to admit I was possibly breaking some federal law by playing for money.

Everything in the email matched the sign-up information so I am pretty sure it is not a phishing scam. I will update once I receive payment.

Received the electronic deposit from the Dep of Justice this morning. Very happy to have my money back after 3 years of waiting.

What happens to snidely333's $2.59?

Maybe it goes to the government to help pay off the federal deficit.
