Full Tilt Poker was Ponzi Scheme (according to Justice Department)

Ferguson wrote the code for Tiltware..the software that started FullTilt. The rest of them invested the money to get it up and running.

Idiots....you make millions and millions without breaking a sweat, then get sloppy and let a processor rob you blind, compound the problem by continueing to acccept US deposits with no way of processing them. Then get deperate so you start raiding every account you can to keep the lights on.

Sorry Snidley, but until they can process my last $50 deposit I made in like November of last year. (which never got processed, but was credited to my account instantly) You ain't getting your 2 bucks back.

I do have $2.73 cents in TITOs I forgot to cash in last time I was in Vegas if you want me to send you those and we will call it even.
Exactly what pokerwayne said, Ferguson wrote the FTP software and was a founding member of FTP. Howard Lederer also was a founding member.

Tom Dwan (aka Durrrr ) has a whole question and answer thread on Twoplustwo.com under the News, views and gossip subforum.

These guys and some other FTP pros are gonna go down big time because of this, meanwhile a lot of poker players are gonna be left holding the fking bag to the tune of $300 million plus. This is the reason why none of the FTP founders/owners/major shareholders were at the WSOP this past Summer.

This isn't an American company, and thus aren't subject to US law.
Not correct. At all. A company that operates within the United States, let alone to the degree that an Irish company like FTP did, is most certainly subject to US laws. If Guinness started putting arsenic in the beer it ships here, you can rest assured that the DOJ would seek to prosecute.

Online poker proved exactly as legitimate and reliable as one should expect from an unregulated, illegal business. I won't be shedding any tears for the people who let themselves be ripped off by these scammers. Not one drop.

Oh, at it's Samuel L. Jackson. Very famous guy.

Oh, dude, I loved Samuel Johnson in that film, too: Mr. Clean; the light and the space of Vietnam really put the zap on his head.

I never trusted those online poker games, and have never committed any "real" money to them.

Too many horror stories of hacks and cheats....forget it!

Not for me

The problem arises who is ultimately responsible for the processor, is it Tilt and their officers, or the appointed idiot who was supposed to run that part of the business? We are of course forgetting the $300 mil that wound up missing prior to the shutdown. Where is that money?

Please remember that prior to all of this stuff happening, both Tilt and Stars were making money hand over fist and the US folks were not complaining about their deposits/withdraws. Poker Stars has refunded all of the US players money, and very quickly. So not all poker sites are bad....
DonDiego has avoided all online gaming.

DonDiego prefers to be taken by real, flesh-and-blood, small-time pros who make a living off the tourists.
FTP was an Alderney company. In a shocking development, Alderney has suspended their gaming license. All the cows and rabbits were enraged.

The real story here is the continuing war the American DOJ wages on American citizens. As was mentioned above, nobody had any complaints to make until April 15 this year. The DOJ then stepped in and caused the American clients to lose access to their money.

Let me translate "cowboyday talk": don't blame the bank robbers, blame the police who arrested them.
