Fun facts about the wall

1) Almost 90% of the land along the border is privately owned. In the event of the government trying to seize it, they can't do it as a class action. They have to identify the owners of each parcel and negotiate a deal with them or take each to court. Eminent Domain cases can takes months, if not years.
2) Part of the border is on Indian reservations, where Eminent Domain doesn't apply.
3) 44% of current undocumented people in the country arrived by plane. A wall would simply add to that number.
4) The border is snake like in parts, meaning a straight wall will result in Americans and their property being on the wrong side.

I'm curious why Billy wants to take jobs away from Americans and from LEGAL immigrants?
Fox News, believe it or not. They had a segment on it as I was posting. I just typed what the guest was saying.
He also said that the $21 billion dollar cost that is being thrown around didn't include one cent for compensation costs, and that the last time the Federal Government seized land for a border fence, in some cases they ended up paying forty times what their initial offer was.
Points three and four have been documented many places. People fly in and simply overstay their visas. There is presently next to no enforcement on this.

So illegal immigrants cost the American taxpayers around 113 billion a year and Billy is incensed that the wall would cost 21 billion. Hmmm. Do you see a problem here?
Where do you get that I'm incensed by the cost? If I paid taxes, I might be bothered by a President who claimed it would be paid for by others and is now being dishonest about what it will cost. Just like said President, I use the laws to avoid paying taxes so ,quite simply, it's not my money, not my problem.
I suspect this will drag on for years, billions will be spent on court cases and obtaining the land rights and in the end, you'll have a wall in some spots, a fence in others and nothing in much of it, and we'll still have millions of undocumented workers in the economy.

So in other words you just want to whine and bitch and have no proposed solution.
RM said a naughty word.
Cool so for $21B no more illegals will be able to get into the US. Awesome, sign me up. What's that? It won't stop the folks the fly or drive in with valid visas and overstay them. As shown by the current wall folks will still go under/over/around and come here anyway. I guess it's only $21B and the Mexican gov't is going to pay us back, so that sounds pretty cool. If only there was a better way to get rid of these rascals. If only someone had an idea or some insight that might be cheaper, more effective more humane. Nah, that's just dreaming. It has to be a wall, and hopefully lots of perp walks that look so cool on television. This might be as effective as the war on drugs!
Texas Republicans are objecting ,today, to the plan to build a wall on private land. What a topsy turvy world.
Of course, the House today attempted tp intercede in a case that many scholars think could doom Obamacare if successful. Ironic thing is the House is also the plantiff in the case.
House Republicans are basically asking a judge to save them from their own law suit. Even more bizarre is that the Administration is also asking the judge not to destroy Obamacare, something trump promised to dismantle his first day in office.
