They should all work like that. Many give no warning at all as you drive off without your keys....or walk off with the motor running and the keys in your pocket.

no, they did not have a passport. My husband and I also do not have passports. Since we do not travel out of the county and have no plans to do so, it seems unnecessary.

I have a key-less entry push button also , the car beeps when you get out with the key. If you aren't paying attention you don't listen, after the first time of driving off without the key, you do hear it and pay attention. So how was the rest of the trip?

Glad they were able to get on the plane. TSA agents have lots of flexibility my friend got on at DTW went to LV lost her license and had no problem returning because it was a round trip ticket. I had to laugh because even though a return ticket how would they know it was her?

The rest of the trip was fine. Won some, lost some, but the weather was sunny and warm and the drinks were flowing. Both of us had comped rooms for 4 nights and lots of restaurant.com and MYVegas food vouchers so we were well-fed and lubricated with free drinks. Been to various states on vacation but Vegas is the only one that within a few days of being back home, we start wishing we were there again.

Leaving the car running worries me. If that had happen at the garage at their home they could have wound up dead.
