Any fans here? A strong start to the season last night. Read in TVG it costs $8m an episode to produce.

Big fan here. Without giving too much away, I noticed that this season's storyline veers significantly from the books. I look forward to seeing how it all plays out onscreen.

Now the question is, who has already seen the first four GoT episodes "accidentally" leaked online?

I have not read the books. I watched the first 2 seasons, then started to read the books and realized that I didn't want to continually be comparing the two. So once the whole HBO series is done, I'll go back and read the books.

First episode of this season was kind of "meh" for me.

According to TVG George Martin wanted to deviate from the books

Unfortunately I can't get my wife to watch it with me. Says it's too hardcore with the violence and sex. Which is a shame because we could do some great role-playing based on some of those characters
