Wow, that sounds outstanding. The Ribeye is such a great cut. Add to that some crab, plus a vodka cocktail................oh my!
I'll be at a Notre Dame tailgate next month that my buddy throws, and he really does it right. Breaded Parmesan chicken, steamed mussels, filet mignon, lamb chops (my favorite), baby back ribs, and often a few other items. He relies on those attending to bring any sides like fruit, salad, bread, potato casserole, breakfast casserole, etc.. I don't help with a side but always bring an additional grilling item.............likely chicken wings this time (with home made blue cheese dressing).
Understand that most ND games begin at 3:30 pm, and his tailgate start time is 10:00 am. After the game folks return about 7 pm, and he usually wraps up the final cooking at about 9 pm with departure time of 10 pm. Luckily I only have to drive 10 minutes to a different friend's place to flop before driving the 3 hours back in Indianapolis the following morning. Weather contingent, tailgating is one of the World's greatest invention.
I'm hungry.

I shoulda bought two in hindsight but I had already thrown in the steaks and those were kinda pricey. So long story short, ribeyes on the grill and have the crabackes chillin' in the fridge now. YUM!
Whoa, how's that for OT.
Now how about the martini?
Vodka, sprite and cranberry. The steaks were perfectly cooked to 125 when I took 'em off and the crabcakes were really tasty as well(and I've never had much luck cooking crabcakes, usually end up as crabcake bits).
