Keeps posting the wsj article, but no comment on the persistent poverty in this country and the lack of full time job development.

Now you follow up again with a meaningless Q2 adjustment which I point out as insignificant....since the 4% increase had already been discussed.

It found yesterday's adjustment, which had never been discussed here, worthy of a report on page 1 of today's paper. Above the fold even.

.

The Wall Street Journal reports most adjustments. Considering this one was less than one for each of the last 54 quarters, I don't see it as noteworthy. Feel free to point these minor adjustments out whenever they're reported and I'll try to teach you which ones are meaningful. Now is this where you say that I hate Obama or where you call me a Racist?

Damn!!
I thought Chilcoot would be in great spirits after spending a few weeks at the Obama Cheerleaders Camp, but after looking over this thread....I guess not.

"Chirp Picture"

Chilcoot continues to prove he is a serial liar. Luckily the Internet does not forget. Chilcoot now claims I said nothing after the Q2 numbers were released. (Or maybe he put some bizarre 'hours' time limit on my response...yeah...that's it)

AlanLeroyII's actual comments on the original 4% Q2 estimate:

"I considered starting a thread on it, but there's no reason to as soon after the data release this one was updated. Imagine that. Q2 is an outlier too. It's a healthy rebound....likely due to pent up demand from Q1 weather conditions.

As I've already predicted this jump in GDP in yet another thread, I didn't really see the point in tooting my own horn...but thanks for pointing that out anyway....I'll just go ahead and say it again..AlanLeroyII accurately predicted a nice rebound in Q2 GDP growth. Thanks for highlighting that for me.

And I'll add that the further major revision to Q1 GDP continues to justify my original non partisan post pointing out the enormous adjustment and unexpectedly large decline in GDP being reported...apparently inaccurately. "

So, unlike Chilcoot's lie...I not only pointed out that Q2 was a 'healthy rebound' and noted that I PREDICTED it days before the event....I further commented on the upward revision of Q1. That's hardly a non-response. it is in fact a thoughtful non-partisan response.

Chilcoot goes on to claim:

Another Chirp Picture

Of course my actual response was to rightly point out that a minor revision in GDP was so common it was not worthy of discussion. None of my replies were politically driven. I made no mention of President Obama as a cause of the downturn or uptick. In fact, I specifically pointed out that I do not believe that is the case and mentioned several economic drivers that I felt are far greater than the President's power to control the economy.

So once again, Chilcoot has been fibbing... It's easily proven...in this very thread....and this from the guy who said "I'm intolerant of liars. I concede that. I'm particularly intolerant of easily-exposed ones". Consider yourself easily exposed. If you're intolerant of liars, you must not be able to stand yourself. I'm intolerant of assholes.

And yes this is the Vegas Free For All...as if that really means something to Chilcoot. I am happy to challenge Chilcoot to never again post in a Political or even an Economic Thread on Las Vegas Advisor....and if he agrees, I'll do the same.

HAHA! Priceless, definitely worth unignoring for that. Love seeing someone called out for EXACTLY what they are and the ensuing panties in a major wad over it. Fantastic work A.L. and well said.

Glad I checked older posts since being gone, would've hate to miss the end of this thread. Did alan sufficiently humiliate cc enough to drive him away from the LVA? Would be nice.

I would prefer this thread be deleted. It's contentious and nasty and I'm sorry I started it. I'd rather talk about Vegas.
!
Once again, I have been reminded why I find chilcoot detestable. This board had really been enjoyable lately. Alas....
